ChatGPT was launched as a prototype on 30 November 2022 and quickly garnered attention for its detailed responses and articulate answers across many domains of knowledge.

Its uneven factual accuracy, however, has been identified as a significant drawback. In addition, OpenAI continues to gather data from ChatGPT users that could be used to further train and fine-tune ChatGPT. Users are allowed to upvote or downvote the responses they receive from ChatGPT. The ChatGPT webpage is simple and includes an area for the results to populate and a text box at the bottom of the page for users to type inquiries.

One may start with questions, however, OpenAI recommends inputting a statement for the best possible result. Readers ask: Is using the ChatGPT simple? Yes, as all you have to do is type in your text and receive the information. However, OpenAI does require an account before you can use any of its tools, so if you don't have one, you will have to register. You have the option of choosing an easy login with a Google or Microsoft account.

Otherwise, if you have any other kind of email, you can enter it manually. After this, you must enter a phone number; however, keep in mind that you cannot use a virtual phone number (VoIP) to register for OpenAI. You will then receive a confirmation number, which you will enter on the registration page to complete the setup. The use of ChatGPT has been full of controversy, with many onlookers considering how the power of AI will change everything from search engines to novel writing and challenge careers.

Essay-writing for students is one of the most obvious examples of where ChatGPT could become a dichotomy. ChatGPT might not write this article all that well, but it feels particularly easy to use for essay-writing. The tool, which works on English AI-generated text, is powered by a machine learning system that takes an input and assigns it to several categories. In this case, after pasting a body of text such as a school essay into the new tool called AI text classifier.

This allows users to check if an essay was written by a human or AI. The test will give one of five possible outcomes, ranging from "likely generated by AI" to "very unlikely". Although ChatGPT is a very useful tool, it isn't free of problems. Multiple controversies have sprung up for people using ChatGPT to handle tasks that should probably be handled by an actual person.

Much of the debate is centred around ChatGPT's conversational speaking style and coherent, topical response style, which makes it difficult to distinguish from human responses.

Experts who work in both artificial intelligence and education have acknowledged that bots like ChatGPT could be a detriment to education in the future. For now, it is free but OpenAI has also recently announced a new paid, premium version of its chatbot, called ChatGPT Plus. It's not available just yet, but the eventual price will be €20 per month. ChatGPT Plus will provide access even during peak times, faster responses and first access to new features. According to the blog post, ChatGPT Plus will provide three specific features:

  • General access to ChatGPT, even during peaktimes;
  • Faster responsetimes; and
  • Priority access to new features andimprovements.

Having access to ChatGPT during peak times is obviously the major benefit of paying for ChatGPT Plus. With some people having to wait hours to get in, that alone should ensure the popularity of the subscription model.

The idea of getting first access to new features and improvements is interesting too, even if what those new features will be, remain a mystery. We do know that ChatGPT-4, which claims to be a massive improvement on the previous generation, is supposed to launch sometime this year.

It's possible that OpenAI could reserve the improved language model for paid users only. Moving to another technology called ChatBT. This is revolutionising the way we communicate with each other. It is a chatbot that allows users to converse with each other using natural language processing. Unlike traditional chatbots, ChatBT is designed to be more conversational and intuitive, allowing users to engage in meaningful conversations. It is powered by AI, which allows it to understand the context of conversations and respond accordingly. This makes it easier for users to communicate with each other without having to type out long sentences or use complex language.

It also allows users to ask questions and get answers quickly, making it an ideal solution for customer service, customer support, and other customer-facing applications. Many ask how secure is ChatBT? The answer is that it is highly secure, using encryption and authentication methods to ensure that conversations are kept private.

This makes it ideal for business applications, such as customer service, where sensitive information may be discussed. Additionally, ChatBT is designed to be compliant with regulations such as GDPR and HIPAA, ensuring that any data shared is kept secure and private. Even though it is early days yet it is already being used by a number of businesses, including banks, airlines and retailers.

The technology is being used to provide customer service, improve customer experience and even provide personalised recommendations. As the technology continues to evolve, it is likely that more businesses will begin to adopt it as a way to communicate with their customers. This is an exciting new technology that promises to revolutionise the way we communicate with each other.

It is designed to be more intuitive and conversational, allowing users to engage in meaningful conversations without having to type out long sentences. Microsoft announced its own version Bing, as well as its full Edge browser. It's available to try it now and it uses an enhanced version of the AI model present in ChatGPT dubbed the Prometheus model. Unlike the ChatGPT app, this enhanced version can take into account recent information, while ChatGPT can only summarise information dated back a few years. Microsoft showed off this functionality with a few demos. If you're shopping, the sidebar can gather information from search results and compile them into a list.

Similarly, it can gather recipes from multiple sources and generate its own recipe. In all cases, the AI annotates what's created and links to the sources from which it gathered the information. The AI technology is a useful and powerful tool which if used judiciously can vastly improve our education.
